So during college we were assigned to make our website to upload our animations and stuff in order to try to get our stuff out there and possibly find a job at an animation studio or what have you. Here's the link to the website adriananimate.wixsite.com/webs…
I know it's not much, but I'm trying whatever I can to get my work out there and finally get a job in animation.

Alright! This was the moment we've been waiting for since the Nintendo Switch was first released! I was glad I was able to catch it live before I went to work that day. So for this year's E3, we've been presented with more games for the Switch and more info about the upcoming games that were announced in the Switch Presentation.

Starting off the video was an extended trailer for Xenoblade Chronicles 2. Now I've never played the first Xenoblade Chronicles game so I won't plan on getting this game either and by now you guys should know that I only talk about the main Nintendo games.

The next video however, I'm really pumped about. The way the narrator started off kinda made me think of a Fire Emblem game when he said "Sword swinging, Fire wielding, stone cold hero," but when I heard "insatiable appetite" I immediately thought "Kirby" and sure enough, there he was in full HD. Kirby is back in a whole new adventure packed with the copy abilities that he had in past Kirby titles like the Cleaning ability from Kirby' Dreamland 3. We even get to see the return of the partner allies from Super Star, however this time, much like Return to Dreamland, you can have three partner allies at once. Fun fact about this feature, if any of you remember way back when the Nintendo Wii was just being released and the Gamecube was near the end of its lifespan (feeling old yet?) Nintendo announced a Kirby adventure game for the Gamecube that would feature multiple allies on the field at once. This concept was scrapped for a few reasons. One was that the aforementioned recent release of the Wii, the other reason was when they were making that game, at the same time they were developing Super Smash Bros. Brawl and one of the boss battles in the Kirby game was similar to the Galeom battle in the Subspace Emissary solo mode. So ultimately that Kirby Gamecube game was ultimately canceled. They did, however, incorporate that whole 4 player co-op and that robot boss in the beta trailer into what is now known as Kirby's Return to Dreamland. So in addition to bringing back that scrapped concept, they also incorporated the ability combination gimmick from Kirby 64 and Squeak Squad. So basically this Kirby game will be 5 Kirby games rolled up into one. I got so excited until I saw the release date for the game: 2018. (silent sobbing.) I CAN'T WAIT THAT LONG!!!!!!

I'm skipping the third video because I've got no interest in playing Pokken Tournament. The next video however caught me by surprise. Outer space was the only thing that was shown, until the stars and space gas took the form of a familiar looking "S" followed by the number 4. Upon seeing that "S" I instantly thought "Metroid." That's right! Metroid fans rejoice! Nintendo developing Metroid Prime 4 for the Nintendo Switch. If you didn't like Metroid: Other M or Metroid Prime Federation Force. Then hopefully this game will help get your fix. Now I don't even play any Metroid games, but I do certainly hope that this game will do Samus some justice.

The following video got me and probably others by surprise. Apparently, according to the comments for the trailer, this new Yoshi game was made using Unreal Engine which is pretty cool. From the looks of it, the environment looks like they're made of household objects which maybe a scrapped idea from the development of Yoshi's Wooly World. And I guess this game is taking a page from Super Paper Mario where you can flip from one side to the other which will probably make finding secrets a bit more interesting. The whole thing looks pretty cute much like any other Yoshi game. And of course, just like the new Kirby game, this game will be released in 2018 (violent sobbing.)

If you guys had fun with Breath of the Wild, then you're gonna have more content with this new DLC expansion pack which means more hours locked in your room binge playing Breath of the Wild. The first DLC content will include a new level called "Trial of the Sword" which I can only describe as similar to the Pit of 100 Trials from Paper Mario the Thousand Year Door. The content will also include "Hero's Path mode" which I guess will show you the correct path to go for story progression. This might be well suited for beginner players. New armor will be include in your arsenal as well as the Korok mask which will make finding Koroks much much easier. The last piece of content in this DLC pack is Master mode which is similar to Master Quest from Ocarina of Time. No need for explanation there. The second DLC pack includes an all new story called "The Champions' Ballad" which I can only guess tells the untold tale of the four champions.

Now this next game may sound a little silly, because it is. "Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle" is a tactical adventure game which features the popular (for whatever reason) enemies from the Rayman franchise teaming up with the main Mushroom Kingdom cast do defeat. . .whatever it is they have to defeat. Again the game itself does sound silly, but I'm curious to see how the game turns out so I'll pick it up for sure.

The last video shows a Tyrannosaurus Rex stomping through a field. At first I thought that it was a completely different game, but as we looked closer at the T-Rex's head, we see Mario's hat; his sentient eye hat to be exact. We now get to see more of the world of Super Mario Odyssey accompanied with some snazzy jazz music. We even get to see how Mario's hat got eyes on it: some kind of hat spirit took possession of Mario's stomped-on hat and now grants him the ability to not only throw his hat like a boomerang, but posses any living thing by throwing his hat onto whatever he throws his hat on. Which means you can posses a muthaf@#% T-Rex!!!!! Move over, Yoshi! Your services are no longer needed! Also, by the end of the song, we see who's been singing that catchy song. We only get to see the back of her hair, but by the shape of her body, the shape and color of her hair, and the color of her dress, we might recognize her as Pauline from the Mario vs. Donkey Kong games. That's right! Peach and Pauline are in the same game! And what's more, the game will be released not on Holiday 2017, but October 27, 2017. It's still a pretty long wait, but at least we don't have to wait that long.

Now those were the videos shown in the Spotlight video. These next two videos were showcased in the Nintendo Treehouse and these are only 3DS titles. The first video is Metroid: Samus's Return. So finally Samus is getting the love she deserves! So that's all fine and good, but the next game will bring back so much nostalgia. This game is a remake of Mario & Luigi Superstar Saga for the Gameboy Advance. I loved playing the original Mario & Luigi Superstar Saga. I've played it so much that I can get through the whole game fairly fast. Now this might be a remake, but there is something new added to this version. Apparently we get to play as Bowser's minions at some points in the story. Well that's two game so far that we've gotten a "semi-Bowser" game. It's only a matter of time before Bowser gets his own game. So that's about all I can say for some of the games that were presented at this year's E3. Here's the whole video in case some of you missed it:

OH. MY GOD!!!!!! I am so excited for the Nintendo Switch to come out this March! I'm also excited about some of the games that are coming out and they look pretty dang exciting. First are the games that are most likely going to be bundled with the Switch. Much like how Wii Sports came with the Wii and Nintendo Land came out with the Wii U, there will be two new games launching along with the Switch called 1, 2, Switch and Arms. These games will showcase the Switch's use of the Joy-Con's accelerometer and gyro-censor controls. For now I just want to talk about the games that I found interesting.

The first main Nintendo game that was announced was Splatoon 2. Now I don't play Splatoon, but my little brother does and he sure seems excited about this new game. Splatoon 2 features new weapons called Dualies that not only allow you to shoot ink from both hands, but they also allow you to propel character at fast speeds to out maneuver your opponent. New weapons and upgrades will be available after the release of Splatoon 2 and with a new Splatoon comes more Splatfests so you can be sure to look forward to that.

Now the first part of this next game confused me a little. The trailer opens up with a New York like city and the camera focuses on a man-hole cover. Then out from the sewer pops out the Teenage Mu- nah just kidding. It's Mario. First let's talk about Mario's design. Man oh man did they give Mario an upgrade! They added more detail on his clothes and texture to his hair. And just as I thought that they couldn't get Mario to look more awesome than he already does. I can't wait to look how he turns out in HD. The name of this game is Super Mario Odyssey and coming soon is the sequel, Super Mario Iliad. Dur hur hur hur hur hur hur hur!                   I'm funny! Laugh damn it! So this is a new Mario sandbox game like Super Mario 64, Super Mario Sunshine, and Super Mario Galaxies 1 & 2. I didn't know what to think of it the first time I saw Mario in a real world setting. I was thinking to myself "Mario? In the real world? That's never happened before." (Remembers The Adventures of Super Mario Bros. 3 cartoon show.) "Okay. . .that has never happened in a Mario game before." (Remembers Mario is Missing and Mario's Time Machine.) "Alright! It's never happened in a good Mario game before! Sheesh!" Then I saw Mario running around different areas like a desert area, a giant forest area, and a kitchen themed area and I instantly thought "Super Mario Galaxy 3." But since it's titled "Super Mario Odyssey, I'm thinking that Mario has to travel through different universes to collect Stars to advance to the next world. He also gets a new ability in this new game. Much like the F.L.U.D.D. in Sunshine and the Spin Attack in Galaxies 1 & 2, he has the ability to toss his hat like a boomerang. This hat is magical, however, for it has eyes! I think this might've rubbed people the wrong way, but it does make sense, because in the trailer Bowser crushes Mario's original hat under his feet. I don't think that this will be a permanent thing, because I think that once you beat the game Mario will get a new normal hat at the end. So I'm really looking forward to this game coming out Holiday 2017. Yeah, I know. Long ways away.

Now for the most anticipated game of 2017, we get some more information about what's going on in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. From what I've read on mynintendonews.net, Ganon will be making an appearance in this game, but by the name of Calamity Ganon as said by the narration. So I wonder what that'll be about. We also see a variety of races from the past Zelda games like the Koroks and Ritos from Wind Waker and some of the classic races like the Zoras and Gorons. What makes this game different from the other past Zelda games is that there will be full on voice acting which has never been done before in a Zelda game. (Remembers the Zelda CD-I games) Okay! It's never happened in a good official Zelda game! Now I've heard that people fell indifferent about the idea of voice acting in a Zelda game, but if they followed mynintendonews.net, they would see that everyone will have voices except for Link who will stay mute to keep tradition. We even got to hear the Deku Tree talk and for the love of God, don't tell me that his voice doesn't sound like Optimus Prime! It totally sounds like Optimus Prime, doesn't it? I could even imagine Optimus Prime talking to Link about the events that took place 100 years ago. I can't wait to get my hands on the game once it launches with the Switch.

Now when they were demonstrating the controls of the Switch, one game in particular was being shown that wasn't in announced in the presentation. It appeared to be Mario Kart 8, but I took a closer look at the item box in the top left corner and it seemed like you can hold two items like in Mario Kart Double Dash. Also if you would look closely, you could see three new characters: Bowser Jr., Dry Bones, and King Boo. A little while after the presentation, Nintendo released a separate video announcing a "new" game called Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. It's basically Mario Kart 8, but I guess it will have 8 more new main track as well as a few new retro track along with the other tracks from Mario Kart 8. All the other characters from the previous game will come back. The DLC characters will make an appearance as well, but they will be available right away instead of buying them to unlock them. The Battle mode will be different from 8, however. Everyone gets 5 balloons instead of the usual 3 and the tracks will be the traditional battle arenas from the past Mario Kart games. We also see the return of two classic items like the Feather and the Boo. Also in the video we see a brand new, but yet familiar stage accompanied by light rock music: The Inkopolis stage as well as the Inklings as new characters. I don't even play Splatoon and I'm still excited about this! Now this could've easily been more DLC for Mario Kart 8, but I guess I'm cool with it being a separate game. The game is set to launch April 28 of this year.

That's about all that caught my eye in the presentation. I know that I missed a few things that were talked about, but if you would like to get caught up, here's the video:

Hopefully you'll have enough time in the day to watch the whole thing. I'm so excited about the Nintendo Switch!! I can't wait!

Oh. . .My. . .God!!!! I-I'm not sure what else I can say. Totally not what I was expecting, but I'm totally excited about these new characters! First up, we all know that Cloud Strife from Final Fantasy VII has been confirmed to be a playable character in Smash Bros. a while back. I've been hearing that ever since the release of Melee, everybody wanted Cloud to be in the next Smash game and everybody got their wish with this new update. Now, I'm not a fan of the Final Fantasy franchise so I don't have that much to say about Cloud's attacks, save for the Omnislash which is a very popular move of Cloud's. I figured that the Omnislash would be his final smash from the very moment I saw his trailer. Next up is yet ANOTHER Fire Emblem character from the new Fire Emblem game. Much like the Final Fantasy franchise, I haven't played any of the Fire Emblem games so I don't have that much knowledge on any of the characters. In the video, we were introduced to Corrin, who is half dragon or something and is able to transform various parts of his body into dragon parts for various attacks. And much like the Villager, Wii Fit Trainer, and Robin, you can either play as a male or female version of Corrin. (I have a feeling that most people will choose the female version of Corrin. Just sayin') As for costumes, we've got an interesting selection. First, as we've seen in Cloud's trailer we've seen Chocobo hats for each Mii Fighter and I thought that was a pretty cool addition to Cloud's introduction. We've also got more character suits like Tails, Knuckles, and even the long awaited Geno from Super Mario RPG. It may not be a playable character like everyone had hoped, but it's just as good. So now we get to the climax of the updates. They have officially announced the winner for the Smash Ballot. Are you ready? Hang on to your butts! The winner for the Smash Ballot is. . .

BAYONETTA!!!!

What? Bayonetta? Aww. . .I wanted Shantae to win.
Oh well. You can't win them all. So apparently Bayonetta was the #1 choice in Europe, the top five most voted characters in the U.S., and the #1 pick for realizable fighters world wide. And much like Cloud and Corrin, I know nothing about Bayonetta, because I haven't played Bayonetta or Bayonetta 2. I just know that she attacks with her four guns that she carries, (two for her hands, and the other two on her heels) and summons demons with her hair or something. That's pretty much all I know about Bayonetta. I've also noticed after the release of Mewtwo, Lucas, and Roy, we've been getting more realistic-ish human fighters instead of beasts or any cartoony human characters.  ell, those are the last updates that we'll ever be getting out of Smash Bros. and It's almost kind of sad, really that we won't be able to see any of our favorite characters in Smash. Hopefully we will get a Smash 5 for the Nintendo NX. Hopefully. I'm not exactly sure.

Well once again a new school year has started and I am going to be super busy with homework and my job that I just won't have enough time to make any drawings or to come up with animations. It's already been about two weeks since school has started and they've already unloaded a crap ton of work for us do; art projects, work sheets, mandatory art events, I swear they're going to wear me down before the semester is even over. So, sorry that I haven't been posting anything new since the past couple of weeks, just wanted to give y'all a quick update on what I've been up to. I don't know when I'll have any free time to make more drawings, but hopefully I can make free time if I do my school work carefully, efficiently, and not rush any projects.
